Microsoft translator now supports offline AI

Not long ago we heard about the extraordinary machine translation of Microsoft translator as well as human translation in Chinese news into English. Today, we hear about Microsoft adding offline support for its AI to work. Machine translation, especially those which you can download to your phone are most likely to be used when you travel around the world. But, I myself as a traveler who uses machine translation, cannot have internet connectivity at all times. Who knows, maybe you are in the middle of nowhere and you need to borrow some gas for your car from a local? What can you do then?

Now, with the availability of offline AI of Microsoft translator, you can have your ‘best quality’ machine translation app with you wherever you go, as long as you have enough battery left! Most other machine translators also work offline, but to use sophisticated AI, you had to be connected to the internet. But now, Microsoft runs a slightly modified version of its AI on your device without having to be online without needing any additional chips on your phone. All you have to do is to just download your interested language pack and you are done! Now you have the power of an AI Machine translator in your pocket. The current list includes Arabic, Chinese Simplified, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Thai.
